Stanley Eugene, a 4-year-old black Labrador Retriever, is a former drifter who traveled the rural Georgia countryside in hopes of finding a furever home. Since establishing permanent residency in September 2020, he has become well-known in the community for his diary entries, which he currently publishes on social media. Joy is a Boomerang! is his first published work.
In his free time, Stanley Eugene enjoys building stick piles, watching the neighbors do yardwork, and eating peanut butter spoons.
He and his family live in South Georgia. He also has a grandma in Alpharetta.
IS THIS A CHILDREN’S BOOK?
Stanley Eugene‘s Joy is a Boomerang is not classified as a children’s book because, while the subject matter is kid-friendly, there is mention of an ‘alteration’ (neutering) and this does not meet publishing standards for books officially classified as those published for children. The underlying storyline highlights what happens when we show kindness to others and how what we put out to the universe is most often what we get back – but amplified.
